The reason I'm interested is that I never put a hole in my car covers for the fixed antenna to poke through and thought a power antenna would solve that.

Of course power antennas were never available on A-bodies but I bought 2 of them at a swap meet a couple years ago. Probably most used on C-bodies.

I was curious and holding one in my hands the seller made me a super deal and threw in a second for free. I've tested them with a 12 volt jumper and both work fine up and down.

My question is about the fender bezel. Neither had one included and of course it should be chrome with a hole in it. Anyone have any personal experience or pictures to share?

I used a factory chrome fender bezel with an aftermarket power antenna. All antennas have similar hardware, there are just differences in hole diameters and thread pitch on the securing nuts. I had a pile of parts, some factory, some aftermarket, and mixed and matched until I had a combo that worked. Right now I have a fully retractable manual antenna and the factory bezel.

Thanks Max.
I just don't have any bezels to play with.

You can find Mopar chrome bezels on eBay. Barracuda is unique, and 67 is different than 68-69, but you don't care about that (and some B-body ones are almost identical styling). What you need are a nut that threads onto the antenna base that you have (this should be part of the power antenna kit), and the double-semicircle widget that goes under the fender. The sticky issues are: Does the power antenna base fit through the hole in the bezel? Is the nut big enough in diameter not to fall through the hole in the bezel? If not, you might be able to find a chrome washer. Is the overall length of the antenna base correct so you can tighten down the assembly with the bezel you chose (as opposed to the generic plastic bezel)? You might be able to space this out under the fender with washers, too.

This is a “correct” 1967 bezel for the non-retractable OEM antenna, combined with a cheap Amazon fully retractable manual antenna. Everything above the chrome base came from an aftermarket kit. I don’t recall which parts I used under the fender. The thick black plastic piece under the nut is there because the nut was just too small to cover the hole in the bezel. A slim washer the right diameter would have worked as well, but I didn't want to use anything that would rust.

I have a bezel from a bbody think. I can get dimensions tomorrow if need be?
EDIT *** sorry for 73/4 dart sport.
