Hi,
Im looking for some pictures of the power steer pump and brackets for a 67 273 Barracuda, were these saginaw pumps originally ?, mine has been messed with and brackets modified, alignment is awful and I wonder if a different pump has been fitted.

Thanks, Steve

I'll see if I remember to get some pics of my 68 340 tonight. They are the same. You'll have to ignore the spider webs, though. The car hasn't been used in a few years.

Ok, here we go from different angles.

those don't look like saginaw pumps...I know mine is a saginaw because of the "canned ham" shape pump. I want to say that the guy who had my car before pulled it off of a 3/4 ton PU...

They are Federal pumps as far as I know

Thanks guys, looks like mines had a pump swap which explains the modified brackets and awful alignment, need to find the correct brackets and a federal pump now, if anyone has a spare for sale let me know.

It looks like Jim and Dave gave good examples which I can`t really add to, but this is a 67, 273 so here you go..... a couple more pics., (same thing). I believe the Saginaw pumps have a different shape to the pump neck, ovate or something, whereas these are round.

I might be able to find the brackets, but they would be buried in my pile of parts. If I do find them I might be able to get them to you rather cheaply, but I'd have to check. My brother's father-in-law and his wife spend half the year in New Zealand. They're not car people, though.

Hey Jim, freight isnt a problem, the guy who shipped me the car from CA will forward stuff on to me. He ships a lot of cars this way and there is yusually plenty of room in the container. But if the in-laws can help out even better ! Steve

This is the 1966 year
