Power steering box on my 74 duster

Hello everyone,

I've got myself into quite the project with my 74 duster and I'm trying to rebuild the power steering box, I was hoping someone could give tips on how to get it apart I've heated and hammered alot but It won't budge. Im not sure what would work as a replacement or if there was a way of fixing this one.

I think you need the proper spanner wrench to unscrew that input shaft cover. You should get a service manual before you start pulling it apart. If worse comes to worst, get a new or rebuilt box from Steer N Gear or other trusted source, it may be more cost effective that way.
