Was this pump with cooler standard on 1970 340 cars?

This came off of a 1970 Dart 340.
 
Didn't have one on my #s matching 70' 340 Dart or any other one I have ever seen. I don't think they were.

It would have been if the rear axle ratio was 3.55, or 3.91.
The Performance Axle Package, got the PS Coolers as standard equipment with those gear ratios.

Thanks. I guess you don't see too many cause most of the A body HP cars came with manual steering.
 
Those coolers were part of a towing package. I pulled one from a 75 Valiant Brougham slant 6.
