I have a 73 power steering box and set up. The box (according to what i've read) should be a large sector box, because power boxes changed to large sector for 73, right?
So, if one was to try to use this on a 72 and older car, it obviously bolts right in, but the problem is the pitman arm. The 73 and up arm mounts to the center link from above rather than the 72 and old that mounts from below.
The question is, you'd have to find a pitman arm the mounts like the 72 and older, but also is for the large sector box. Does anybody know if this arm exists? Or another way to use the 73 and up box w/o changing the steering linkage?
