Just learned that a buddy's dad passed away a month ago, not sure of what though. I guess he'd been sick for some time. My friend is in his mid 20's so, his dad was pretty young (40's) I think.

The terrible part is the day his dad was taken from hospice, my friend's wife told him she's leaving him, divorcing him, and moving back to Washington state!! What a thing to do when your husbands father just died!!:angry7:

I feel bad for him and can't imagine what he's going through. The pain and betrayal must be unimaginable for him.

He has a 67 Valiant with a 408 stroker, very nice car, that he and his father built. He and his dad were also building/restoring a 68 or 69 Dart prostreet/drag car. I saw the car on the lift in their shop....very nice work, beautiful car, top notch, best of everthing, make you jealous kinda car.

He told his dad before he died that he would finish the car in memory of him.

If you could, just remember him and say/whisper a prayer for him and his family. His name is Brent.

His dad's death is terrible. We all have to go. But I bet dollars to doughnuts in the long run his wife leavin will be a good thing. He's on the prayer list here.

Prayers for your friend. Stay close to him and get him to talk. If his wife would leave him at this time, he will be better off without her.
 
Condolences to Brent! Losing your dad sucks, I know......mine in (2005). Losing the wife right now sucks also. I know it will be difficult for a while, but things will get better with time. I had issues for a time after getting divorced, but when I finally met the love of my life, all was good.

The sad thing is, he just bought her a completely loaded 2013 Hemi Durango.
 
Prayer from the Thompson family. As for the truck. I'd call the bank and tell them to come get it...
 
Wow, my prayers are certainly going out to Brent!! He surely needs a blessing in his life right now!! He does have a great friend in you Jeremy, and maybe a visit will cheer him up!! Tell him that his FABO friends are praying for him also, and that he is in our thoughts!! Geof
 
Prayers sent for Brent, this will be a hard time for him and the family and friends around him, stay close by and assure him he is not alone Jeremy.

If/when he gets a divorce he just needs to divorce the truck too and let her make the payments.
 
Prayer is sent to Brent and to his family. Make sure you stay close to him through this very tough time. He will need a good friend to talk/cry with. I can feel his pain and heartache...Bill
