Went to adjust my valves and can't get the allen head set screws to break loose....ANY of them!

It's been a couple years since I messed with them. Is there someting simple I'm forgetting?
Could they really all be seized?
Anybody else ever have this problem?

Do you remember using thread locker? Hopefully you didn't. Otherwise try moving the adjusting nut in the opposite direction simultaneously. Sometimes that helps.

No thead locker.
No air in my garage.
Maybe heat with a heat gun?
The bolts look like ARP...still worried about stripping them. Rounded one hex wrench already

I strongly suggest you use a high quality allen wrench. It's worth the investment. lower quality wrenches tend to twist and give way under high loads. Use a snap-on, Mac or Cornwell.

Those adjusters are very short. I never like to see the Allen part of the screw be loaded by the lock nut.
Adjusters that would normally work great in a harland sharp or mopar rocker BARELY work with the comps, they are BARLEY long enough and if you don't measure the push rods accurately at all 4 corners and have the adjusters set exactly where they'll be at proper length rods & lash, it won't be right.
So everyone needs to remember to check the outside corner push rod lengths with 'adjusters set' in running position 'extend PR to take up slack' and then take the sized push rod and check it against the no.3,5,4,6 to make sure its putting the adjusters in the good with 1-2 threads below rockers and 2 above adjuster nut...then note PR length and order.

So let me get this straight...

Which adjusts and which locks down? I thought the hex screw locked and 1/2" nut adjusted.
Do I simply have it backwards?
I didn' t try to force the nut too much because I thought the allen screw was locking it in and REALLY don't want to tear up these adjusters.

The allen bolt is the lock. The 1/2" nut is the adjuster. Have you tried turning the allen bolt and adjuster towards each other already? I've had success doing that in the past. Just a little bit, which should be enough to relieve the pressure on the lock bolt

My Comps are backward with the nut as the lock, and Allen as the adjustment. Use the box end wrench combined with the Allen at the same time to loosen them up.

hmm I could definitely be wrong. Go with gumper's advice since he has the same set. Thanks for stepping in gumper before I lead him in the wrong direction.

Yeah... Just called my buddy who has a set. 12pt nut locks it down, allen screw adjusts.

All the videos on youtube I found were showing Chevy rockers, which are the opposite.

Thanks yall...

I bought mine 15 years ago, so they could have changed, but they do look the same other than those trick mopar hold downs.

Got those of a guy on ebay years ago. Thought they were pretty cool.

I have some some side to side clearance on a couple rockers. Where is a good source for shims?

Mancini has .015" shims. Hughes has a large pack for cheap. Can't speak for the quality of either.
