Hello FABO

I was coming on here to ask any of you if you guys have any experience with Scats Procar seats in A bodies, specifically the 90 series seats. Any feedback you guys have on them, good or bad, would be greatly appreciated. I was also wondering if I would be able to adapt them to my original bucket tracks and rails. If not, what aftermarket tracks and rails would you guys recommend?

Thanks for reading, keep having a good one.

Ethan.

Running Pro 90’s in my 70 Valiant Hardtop (Dart)
Fit and work well with full recline / tilt functionality.
I bought the Dart runners from Scat and they fitted the original bucket seat mounting holes in my car.

I installed these Procars a few years back in my 63. Don't recall off hand the model. They are comfortable but a bit small in my opinion. The base was from their universal kit and had to weld them up. Lots of mock up and adjusting to get the height right and frame is mounted very close to floor. There was no way I could adapt the seat to the original tracks and rails - the seat would be too high. But this is early A and maybe later A gives some more room.

I have a set of ProCar rallye seats in my Duster. Great seats, a touch on the small side but great for actually keeping you in place if you like to corner. The brackets for the '67+ cars are decent, but the passenger side ProCar bracket has one of the tabs in the wrong location. I cut it off and welded it in the right location. Or at least it used to be in the wrong location, not sure if they've fixed it or not as it's been a few years since I installed them.
