I received my 750 proform carb and will be installing it on my 318.

I just might have to do a good burn out and drive by.

I also bought a proform fan(16 inch)

I am a little sad to see my 750 double pumper leave because it's been with me for so long and won all my races with me.
It went on a 400 big block.

Will be posting a video of it running.:D

check the jets and air bleeds and make sure they are all the size they are supposed to be. my idle air bleeds were actually smaller then what they were advertised to be.

Thanks joe........

I just got done doing the carb.
Carb specs given by proform and the carb jets where the same.
I kept all the stuff from my 750 holley and built it the same.

71 jet front /// 78 rear jet
31 pump shots front and rear
4.5 power valve
Moved the front pump cam to hole 2 on the cam /// Still using the 1st hole on the carb.
Rear was left alone and kept in hole one on cam and hole one on carb.
I had to grease the cams (most important)
Ready to rock...................................................

Installed the carb and it runs great.
I set the idle screws one full turn out and started it up.

I could hardly see any change in rpm from park to drive.

I still have to adjust the screws for max vacuum but i am betting it's perfect right where it is.
I did not drive it yet because i was also changing some plugs on a ford escort with a friend of mine.
Here's a video of it running.
