Proper hood scoop location

Can anyone tell me the right location of the 68 Hemi Dart scoop? I'd like to get a measurement from the back of the hood to the back of the scoop, or from the front would work too. Thanks

open the hood up and you will see the hood bracing, in the center is an un braced area this is the part you cut out to make the scoop functional ... center the scoop off of that
