I need a source for a proportioning valve. I swapped in the front discs from a 75 A body (large bolt pattern) but have the stock proportioning valve for my 72 that came stock with front discs/rear drums.

A bodies in wrecking yards around here are EXTREMELY rare. I'm in the Reno, NV area.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,

are they both for manual disc setups or power? it seems to me you don't need to do anything if it is a manual disc to manual disc swap.

Ok. Now I have two different, opposing pieces of input.

This is Power Disc to Power Disc. This car had the Kelsey-Hayes front discs from the factory. I put 75 A body spindles and discs on it for better stopping power and the big bolt pattern.

Does this info helpnarrow down the potential problem with the proportioning valve?

I get this vision of standing on the brake pedal and rolling into a wall.

Thanks,
