PST Adjustable UCA spacers

-
So what happened to James at PST?
It looks like they were acquired by Kanter Auto. James probably isn't involved anymore. I emailed PST awhile back with a question about Viking DA shocks and received a one sentence response from a generic sales tech telling me to call Viking and ask them. Definitely disappointing, but not surprising. A good company going down the shitter after being acquired is a tale as old as time.

If you have the means to make them, they're a simple piece. Otherwise, just buy some generic misalignment spacers longer than needed and grind them to size. Any decent speed shop should have those. Or maybe some spacer stock from Mcmaster Carr. I'm not sure the length it super critical since caster is also adjusted with the cam bolts and threaded heims.

Adjusting the heims changes the distance between them, so narrower spacers and washers outboard of the spacers would provide fine adjustment.

Could ream gas/black pipe to 5/8" id and radius the inboard ends if needed for clearance.

That makes total sense now that you point it out. Moving one of the heim joints in or out, will move the ball joint fore or aft so it really doesn't matter if the spacers are the same or offset from center.

Thanks!

Just a quick follow up and a thank you to all the helped with this.

  1. Turns out the spacers are indeed standard heim spacers. Nothing special here.
  2. The PST adjustable UCA's are actually sourced from Reilly Motor Sports.
  3. Reaching out to RMS resulted in Bill responding and offering to ...
    • Sell the parts to me once I gave him the size of the heim joints.
    • Just tell me what size I needed so I could source my own.

Thank you again to everyone who helped out. I'll be reaching out to Bill this afternoon once I make time to go measure my parts.
