Like the title says, I have a 01 PT Cruiser that we changed the battery in
and now the radio doesn't work.
Everything else works, all fuses good.
Been to the dealer and they say no security codes in 01.
The radio/cd player has a two slide eq that blinks on and off.
I've scoured the net for answers to no avail.

Anybody know what the flashing lights mean or how to reset or repair?
Thanks in advance.
Carl

Ive seen this before, and if I remember right all we did was disconnect the negative battery terminal for about 5 minutes, hooked it back up and all was well again.

Had that problem a time or two at work replacing batteries. One was a PT Loser. I disconnected the negative (either will work) battery terminal for about 10 minutes. Everything was back to normal when I reconnected.

I think the tuners in these radios go bad after several years.

The one in my 2000 Dakota went 2 years ago. Reception got worse and worse.

Now the one in the P/T is starting to go.

IMO that's an oddball issue when most digital tuners last forever and either work perfectly or not at all.

The P/T also has an issue where if the key is pulled out slightly (but the car is still running) the radio doesn't work.
Took a while to figure that one out.

Thanks guys.
I've tried all of the above with no luck.
Tons of complaints with this problem on the net with no real fixes.
Think I'm gonna cut things short and put an aftermarket in,
I'm tired of foolin with it!
