Pulled the motor today

Well, me my wife and dad pulled the /6 today. Dad's friend came by and took the /6 motor to the scrap yard. Was a great, dependable motor...but 95 horse isn't what I would call desirable. Now...to modify the k-member with the Schumaker motor mounts, and intall the bigger torsion bars. How big of a pain was it to fabricate the old mounts to the Schumaker mounts? Looks like I can take some of the access off with a saw-zal. Let me know what I should do to make it easier.

Mike, I'm assuming your going to install a 318/340/360 in your car now. If that is the case, there was a topic posted on here yesterday about using two different motor mounts and bypassing all other changes to install. I'll see if I can find it. Maybe someone else can tell you about it. Mike

That would make life a lot easier. Yes, I'm installing a 360. Where can you find the motor mounts?

This is in the "engines section" About the third or fourth post,from 19Duster74, he posted a list of Items he bought for his conversion from /6 to V-8
