Purple Shaft Identification

cam grind number should be ground in the end. i typed mine in on google and it popped right up, urs should have it too, mine was like pp44xx
 
you have to check the lobe lift, and best bet would be to check with a degree wheel. mopars go by color code , if you dont know color codes for mopar purpleshafts, forget trying to get, must be one of mopars best kept secrects.i would ask other members on here about the color code on there cams. i have a 557'' solid that is red, i also have a 509 hyd that has a purple stripe.

I should have picked up on that too. I was half asleep when I replied. LOL

The only one I ever had didn't have any numbers on it. Just a color dot like Morepowertoya said. I ended up measuring the lift like he said and matched it up. One nice thing is they don't have any repeated ones with the same lift but different duration so it's easy to match up once you measure the lift of the lobe and multiply by 1.5 (the rocker arm ratio).
