hey everbody i have adj. mopar rockers that are going on a 340 j heads. what type of push rods should i be using. i am going mild on my engine build. thanks for your help.

Yep, that's Summit for you. The picture is ball & ball and the description is cup & ball. The new Crane catalog shows them to be cup & ball.

this type wont work because i think i need the cone type. i have mopar factory adj. rockers.
oops my bad, yes those are the wrong ones, I have the correct ones on mine they have a cup on one end (rocker arm end) and ball (tappet end) on the other thats what you need too. Can'r find the correct Crane pushrods, here are the Comp cam ones that should work fine.

All the recommendations in the world won't help if we don't know what type of cam is being used for the original engine as well as in the examples provided!

Adjustable rockers with solid lifters will need pushrods about 1/4" (.250") longer than adjustable rockers with hydraulic lifters. Roller lifters may be different also, but I never messed with them.

Loco is correct, if you are running a hydraulic cam the stock length solid lifter push rods WILL NOT work. I have a set from Mancini for the hydraulic cam in my motor. PM me if you need the part number and I'll go find it.

this is what i am planning to install Cam/Lifters/Valvetrain, Hydraulic Flat Tappet, Adv. Duration 279/296,Lift .486/.473, Mopar, 273-360, Kit. ok i hope this will help in getting the right push rods and thanks for your help.

You need to get a adj. pushrod checker and figure out the length needed.it will save you from getting the wrong length. i had a soild cam that had mopar lifters and broke a lifter so bought a comp one and the cup was at a diff. hight.
