I just pulled them out and they are all straight and the cup ends are looking good until I checked the ball end and they all have same flat spot, these don’t look good. I’m making a cam change going a couple sizes bigger and I was hoping that I could use them, but after seeing this I have my doubts now. Which brand or mfg are you using?
Thanks

I really think that end...youre just looking at the machining of the ball?? How could that be wear? Its adjoining a hole!

This is the lifter for that pushrod? Any idea what lifter mfg this could be from, look at the retaining clip in it, I have never seen one like this before.

Typical cheap azz wire retainer. That's an AMC style lifter that's made for pushrod oiling. That's pretty much what a lot the Mopar style lifters have gone to.

I have a 3/8" set of Isky and another 3/8" set from Crower and both sets have the same flat spot. Both sets have served me well in multiple engines.
