Put the Duster on the DYNO.

-
My car weighs 2910.
Fiberglass fenders, hood, bumper.brackets and rear deck lid.
Aluminum heads,intake,water pump and radiator.
Acid dipped doors-60's set up.
Lexan front and side windows.

I had my car on a chassis dyno trying to lower my et's by doing all gear dyno pulls.
The idea here was to find my torque numbers in 1st and 2nd gear.
I shut the engine down at 7200 rpm in high gear.
7000 in 1-2 gears.
I lowered my et by .15 by finding my torque numbers by the gear.
8 straps in the back and 6 straps on the front.

This was tough on the car.
I would not do this with a car that doesn't have a cage.
A rollbar would not be enough.
It twist my car so bad that I had to have my chassis tweaked a little at Coughlins shop after the dyno pulls.

Always have a reason to do dyno runs,as it is tough on equepment.

That's very interesting, but sucks that it would do that to the frame.
