putting my 4 speed back together

Refreshing my 64 Valiant 4 speed. I know to use gease to hold the needle bearings in place. Is there certain gease or additives in the grease to avoid during reassembly?

I have always used wheel bearing grease, just enough to hold everything in place. It works well. Also cut down a broom handle to use as a mandrel in the countershaft to keep everything in place while you install the countershaft pin.
