QA1 Shocks For The Dart

Well I pulled the trigger on the Calvert split monoleaf springs and Viking dual adjustable shocks. I'll keep this thread going so we can test the results. Thanks Everyone!

Okay so I couldn't wait. Looks like I got an additional 1" lift over the suoerstocks with is what I wanted because I like a forward rake and it helps with tire clearance. I expect it to settle a bit, we'll see. The shocks are still a couple of weeks out. Oh yeah......PICTURES!

Interesting, looks like I'll go with stock height. I have Cass's (Dr. Diff) spring relocation kit and I'm on the upper mount hole.
 
Well guys,
I took the Dart out for a short blast WOW, WHAT A DIFFERENCE! Even with the old shocks it only spun for about 15 ft and hooked after that. When it was spinning it pulled almost perfectly straight! I am thoroughly pleased with the Cal-tracs and I can't wait until I get my shocks, PST said a 2-3 week wait. I will keep you all posted.

So the Viking shocks arrived and we have them installed, WHAT A DIFFERENCE! This car now hooks and pulls like a frieght train. Here's a pic.

Thanks for all the info am about to buy the QA-1 td 901 shocks if i can get an answer from summit they say they fit a 1970 dart but not a 1970 340 dart ?? is there really a difference ?

Nope. They are all the same.

thanks i hate buying online never get the right answer . i bought them , at last same shocks front and back , now to dial them in should be fun
