Got my Dart back from the body shop, underhood rust repair and engine compartment paint, going through catalogs and websites and more confused than ever. One place sells some of it in kit form, some by the piece(such as firewall seals etc.). Do I order all my parts from one source, or do I order some parts from here and some from there based on price, as one part will be cheaper at one place but the next part will be cheaper at another place. I am looking at mainly paint gasket sets, battery tray, hood to cowl and hood to radiator seal, and trunk weatherstrip, and brake lines. Suspension and brake parts I will buy locally.
Thanks

You have to watch for what the shipping is going to do you in the long run. Maybe see if there are any discount coupon numbers floating around before you order.

def do DMT for all the seals you need for the car and classic tube for brake lines

I have ordered most of the parts for my 65 barracuda from Dante's. Real friendly, fast shipping, and good prices.
Just my 2cents

Just received a paint gasker set from DMT and it is great. Good price, reasonable shipping. As stated earlier you can pay a lot in shipping charges by ordering from numerous places. Sometimes all from one is cheaper in the long run. A little homework can save you money. Good luck.

I ended up getting all my Metro weatherstripping from an ebay seller for quite a bit less than anywhere else. It was a big kit with most of it, then I bought the last couple items for it separately (from the same seller, I believe). This was a while back, and I don't recall the seller's name, but he/they were selling a lot of weatherstripping products. Just look for the good prices, then check the seller's feedback.

I use Classic industries a lot, and every now and again they will have a free shipping offer for a week or so. I usally wait till I need enough items and order it all at once

I have spoken to them on the phone, I belive the owner is Jamie. Husband and wife business, great people. We used there ac heater box kit and some other stuff from them.

Oh Year One will rape you like a 16 year old at a rave!! On more than just shipping too!! FYI, take a look at their door panels on their website(we did for dads 67 cuda). They DO NOT come with holes cut for window cranks OR armrest bases AND they were quite a bit more than Legendary!
