question about /6 vs.V8 904 converters

is there a differince in the stall speed? Ive heard that a slnt six converter is 2200 or so vs the V8 being 1800. can anyone shed some light on this? It'd be nice to have a little more stall for cheap in my Wagon after I go through the trans:cheers:

you need a /6 904 truck converter .... go down to your local trans warehouse ...been using them for a long time as long as you dont have a big cam they work great ... the last one i bought was around 50 $may be more now that was 6 or 7 years ago ......hope it helps ....
