My tach jumps all over the place. Two different tacks, same thing. /6 Chrysler ign. Do i need a condenser on the coil?

What year is your car?
is the ignition stock to the car?

Some MSD need an adapter to smooth out the multiple pulses.

a condenser on the coil is typically a radio noise suppresser.

First, if you have electronic ignition with a dizzy, you have a capacitor/condenser.
Second, you should have a capacitor on the coil.
Third, capacitors and condensers are the same thing lol.

The kit is for a slant 6 I presume, as a V8 kit would give a wild reading. Some kits have a switch between a 6 and an 8.
