Quiet muffler choices

-
What I have narrowed it down to for the mufflers is a pair of Summit sum-630805 or the Dynomax 24215, Dynomax 43661 Exhaust Intermediate Pipes, Dynomax Super Turbo mufflers 17662. The plan is to tie the glasspacks to the x-pipe then use the intermediate pipe connected to the Turbo muffler then tail pipe. The the intermediate pipe has a 2" offset. The Dynomax 17662 have a 16" body and double offset inlet and outlet that will work with the tailpipes. I just have to wait till I have the Flowmaster tail pipes hung on the car to make and check measurements before ordering more parts. Hopefully it will all work and be quiet with no drone.

After alot of years with headers,2.5 Torque tech etc. I finally just spent the money on manifolds and accurate exhaust with tips. Stock size whatever that is. they sound good, but man Ill never make that money back again...:)

This might be helpful to you. I can't remember who did the coomparison.
(From a couple of years back...)

This link below is also very informative. It is what got me interested in the Dynomax Super Turbos. I believe it was written by VOETOM.
Exhaust

I'm running Magnaflows now,but had Super Turbos on my 440 powered '56 2-dr post Savoy. Really love those mufflers!

use some kind of dynamat-like insulation and lose the drone....

Exhaust
Yes VOETOM is Tom Hand, THE go-to guy for muffler info. The extra three inches of body of the dynomax you picked, put the glasspacks as resonators should be very quiet with no drone.

Dynomax Ultraflo. Why do you want to cheat others out of hearing the best sounding mufflers on a Mopar??

Just wear these for the benefit of those that like it loud!

Best sounding? Under full throttle roar?

Hooker Aero Chambers

But that’s just my opinion…..

You have to make up your mind if you want quiet or noise. Don't really believe that you can have both. No free lunch.
I like the quiet exhaust and the real sound of my engine. Loud droney mufflers suck.
