I visited a friend in Vegas over the 4th of July holiday, as well as my parents in O so sunny Phoenix. My friend has a Off Road Diff shop, and wow I was drooling. And he happens to share a shop with a Nascar Truck Team. He wanted to know if I wanted to buy up some "old R5 motors" for about $8,000 complete. He let me drool over the stuff and lick it but that's as far as it got because he kept a watchful eye on me. I kept asking him "if I can lift a complete engine off the rack can I have it"? He wouldn't fall for it as much as I tried. Here's a crappy pic of only some of the extra cylinder heads and intakes that I took with my cell phone.

Ok, I'll admit it, I don't have a clue......what's an R5 motor?

Nascar based mopar small block. R5 block with P7 heads or somthing of the sort. With a restricted intake per rules still puts out around 700+hp. Dry sump system, roller bearing cam, basically a $50,000+ motor. But for the most part only gone left all it's life.
