Let me know asap so i can arrange the payment through PayPal. my shipper will be coming to pick it up as soon as the payment clears into your account .I look forward to hear from you with the information below.
Your PayPal e-Mail Address
Full name:
Firm Price:
Cell phone:
Zip code for pickup:

Red flag #1, Who says "I can only pay you via one of the fastest and secure way to pay online (PayPal)"
#2,he texted me on my cell
#3 He calls from a restricted #
#4 only wants to communicate via email obviously
#5 I think the name should be Timothy Hamilton?
#6 it's a Kentucky 502 area code

I could email him back and ask what the shipping address is to see if he says Kentucky or not.

Reply: What is the shipping address and where are you located? This is pick up in person only because it will take 2 people to move it.

Get a physical address and tell him to email you a pic of what he is buying and the price WRITTEN on a piece of paper as well as full name, shipper etc.

I'm selling the parts so I think he is trying to scam me....I have yet to be ripped off and keeping it that way

Scammer! Anyone that says they are sending a mover instead of coming themselves to pickup is trying to scam you. Especially if they tell you they will send you the asking price plus additional money so YOU can pay the movers for them. They like to use Paypal because they can use a dummy account and the money will never clear and hope that you will have shipped or let someone pick it up already before physically receiving the money in your account. Also, they will want to send the money to you as a friend instead of for goods or service that way you can't have Paypal go after them. I've had many emails like that from craigslist postings I've done and they all turn out to be scammers. Just have a little fun with them then stop all together dealing with them.

Scam. Move on and report. I send my buddy for **** all the time! A lot of people ignore me though when I need to send him.

Wow, kind of amazing as these kinds of email scams I've seen back as far as 2008. If you simply reply to them that you have reported the (e-mailer) or (scammer) to the authorities the scams quickly stop.

it's a scam. they are fishing

Scam and fishing for info the rip you off. Think about it email addy address name etc. will give them enough info to hack and rip you off.

data mining is a real thing. Often they get enough info to call your bank's 1-800# and "reset" your acct acess. They log on, make a handful of cloned ATM cards, then wipe you out. Happened to me earlier this year.

If he believes so highly in his shipper, tell him to send the cash with his shipper, he want's the stuff, done deal. If I were you, I would not allow someone like this to visit my property/shop anyway, period!! Also, tell him you only do large sales within the perimeters of your local police department, so the deal is fair and square. As soon as you tell him that, you KNOW its a scam!! Good luck Sedanman in selling your goods!

That sure sounds like fishing to hack your Paypal

If they have that much to say and NEVER mention anything about the item, other than a "copy and paste" of the description you wrote and then refer to it as "the item", or "it".

scam scam scam scam scam scam scam scam

Shouldn't be too hard to figure that out.
