I'd like to take the 67 Dart to the strip before it closes in a few weeks. I have a few questions; I looked at NHRA rules but didn't think I found answers. the car may hit the low 14's, not sure. So, will the stock lap belts suffice? Will I need a helmet? Not running slicks, in fact running the peg leg until I get the suregrip pumpkin a different ratio (why climb under there twice...at my age). It's just a test and tune session at Firebird.
