Radiator Dimensions?

Hello Everyone,

I need to replace the radiator in my 1966 Valiant with a 225. What is the proper core size and where is the best place to get one for the best price? OE look preferred, but not needed. Thanks!
 
I went to my parts guy (local family owned) and asked him about the new aluminum and plastic radiators. He said he'd sell me one for $350 with a lifetime warranty but that I'd better plan on yanking it every few years cause they're junk. He recommended a radiator shop and a re-core, so I checked it out. The shop owner said he could re-core it for $350 but he figured that they made millions of these cars and someone must still have a radiator on the shelf, so me made a few calls. Found one in PA. $300 out the door for a brand new in the box copper and brass old school radiator. O:)

Moral is, try your local radiator shop if you've got one. Good luck.
 
19" is the core size for a slant six car. 22" for a v8 car I believe. Hope this helps. Eric L
