Radiator selection

So ive been browsing the forum and havent found much to answer my question, i have a 440 going into a 72 dart, should be 500+ hp, eventually ill be getting an aluminum radiator but for now im looking for cheap that works, what steel radiators could i pull from a junk yard "since i have a buddy that ownes one" that would be sufficient, i understand ford uses the same hose location as a mopar? Any help would be appreciated

Not sure which Ford radiator will fit or work in your situation, but the condition of it internally is just as important. Might put in a lousy radiator. I would buy the radiator new. You'll be money ahead in the long run.

Yea, i gotcha, i mean a universal aluminum one i can get for aroumd $150 and just weld some mounting tabs on it
