I am looking for the radiator upper tank with the following part numbers:
2949066
2949068

It is for a 69 Dart 340 A/T

I only need the upper tank, so the condition of the radiator and lower tank does not matter.

The radiator that came with the car, I had it recored to a three row. I have aquired an original fan shroud (2785614), but it does not fit due to the upper hose being in a different location (by about 2") than it should be.

Please post or PM me.

Thanks

I have a radiator sitting around. has the numbers 2949031, off a 1969 barracuda 318 v8 auto, no a/c. Upper inlet on driver side, lower outlet on driver side.

Here is my dilema:

It's a 69 Dart Swinger 340. The radiator that came with the car is a 2524978 (1965 B body 318) I had it re-cored 2 years ago into a 3 row, and it looks and works great. I recently found a correct 69 shroud (2785614), but it does not fit because the upper hose inlet on the radiator is too close to the filler neck. It should be about 2" further away from the filler neck. The shroud does not fit. The shroud for a 1965 B body is metal and runs about $250.

I am looking for an upper tank that would put the upper hose in the correct location, that way I could have my radiator guy swap out the tanks. I already spend $325 to have it re-cored, I guess I should have checked the part numbers before spending the money.

Here are some pics of the radiator and the shroud laying on top of the engine. You can see where the current location of the upper hose interferes with the circular part of the shroud.

I have the radiator that had the 2785614 shroud on it. So I know the upper tank I have on this radiator will work for your shroud. I can take it to the rad shop and have the top tank removed to save from shipping you the whole thing. Let me know.

Here's my radiator with the top tank measurements. Roughly 19" Wide X 3" Deep X 2.5" Tall

Thanks for taking the time to provide the measurements and post the pictures. However, I am looking for a 1969 or older style tank with the rounded tank.

Thanks again
