Rally Dash....Module???

I have searched high and low as I know I saw a thread on this somewhere, but will be damned if I can find it when I need it.
The thread stating that this wire may be on the wrong post. When I saw it I ran out to the ol' garage to check mine (69 Barracuda) as I had the cluster out, and sure enough its in the wrong spot. Or.....is it?

It is correct as pictured on the 12v in stud. It is a noise suppressor for am radio even if omitted completely it probably wont be missed lol.

its on the 12 volt post, correct as shown.
