rally wheel questions

Is there a source for the correct brushed finish 14x 5 1/2" trim ring? I have been looking a LONG time. Seems to me there should be if only due to sheer numbers, since most of the cars had 14" wheels. I know everyone likes 15's and put them on when they can, but the reality is, I would say perhaps 80% of the cars that came with rally wheels were 14".

I have been looking a lot too and have only found the polished trim rings. Are you looking for new ones or just ones that will work and are driver quality?

Looking for new. The polished ones look OK and I may end up with them but anyone who knows MoPars or was around back in the day knows they are not correct.

Heres the skinny on Rallyes for anyone who needs it...........

In 1970 and 71 the only size 14" Rallyes you could get were 14x5.5", LBP or SBP. The only other option in 70 and 71 were 15x7", which for 1970 only were also the only Rallye's to come with either brushed or polished trim rings. All other sizes came with brushed trim rings only.

In 1973 a 14x6" Rallye was introduced in LBP and only available on B-body cars. 15x7" continued to be the only size available in 15", at least until the 75-77 model years when they list a 15x5.5", and a 15x6.5", which I believe to be the later style C-body wheel.

Included are a couple pics of correct 14x5.5" Rallye wheel trim rings. No inner lip, one groove around the outside and brushed finish. To address the fit issue, these would also fit the 14x6" size, but would not finish at the center hub correctly.

Hope all this helps, Geof
You may know the answer to my question. I have 4 15x7 ralleys. 3 have 2944390 stamped by the bead, the 4th does not but all have 15x7 JJ 852 stamped inside and all 4 have a pentastar before the code at the stem. The 4 codes are 8 29, 11 13, 11 10, 7 29, each pair has stem between them. Can you tell me what I have? Thanks
