I recently went to see the site of the shipwreck Peter Iredale, ran ashore in 1906

Shipwrecks freak me out, and 6 months on a carrier didn't cure me.

Just a little ways down the beach from here. With a minus tide you can still see some of the wreckage. Only problem is USAF has issues with tourists going on the base to see it
