This was taken in 1978, at south Coast plaza Chrysler display. 71 Hemi super bee 4 speed, 22 ever made, 13 automatics and 9 with 4 speeds. That’s Dick Towers 68 Hemi Road Runner next to the bee.

I always wondered how many times a person has to pump the gas to get one of those started //specially in cold weather ?
I was at my dads favorite welders place checking to see if he had something finished for pop one evening , and a 1957ish Chrysler w/ a 392 hemi in it came in for a broken frame to be welded, he was traveling cross country. It had an intake on it that looked like that long crossram , when the welder finished , he lit the tires. up when he left, the car was still spinning the tires when he went out of site under an underpass---------???

In high school a guy had this setup on, I think, a 413 in a '55 Chevy.. it had a one piece front end and the carbs sat under each fender. Great look.
