Thanks! They are a real challenge sometimes, most are bad blurry copies with warped perspective and serious color fading issues.
I like doing the old Esso tiger ones a lot since they tend to be in bad shape but the images are simple and vibrant. I have a bunch of techniques down now for restoring them. After a few dozen, I’ve gotten decently good at it.
Here’s one I just finished a little bit ago.

Farmer friend and his boy drop this by the shop the other day, “get it going”. 1940ish Coleman oil burning stove, tag says 50,000 btu’s ……he’s tired of burning the LP. All of his BIG equipment is diesel, should work just fine for him.

Yeah, I used to buy smokes from vending machines. Thank God that I eventually quit!!! I can’t believe that they are around $8.85 per pack in NJ! The last price that I paid was ~ $2.65 a pack.
