Neighbors back yard. Nothing Mopar, but sadly cars are out there wasting away. Oh and there’s a early 70’s Camaro 4 spd and a late 70’s? Z28. The first 2 pictures are different cars not the same year. And won’t sell anything.

Can’t fix the junkyard mentality of people keeping rustling vehicles as precious treasures and letting them rot out of existence.

Too many examples of letting salvageable cars go to waste while owners hold them tight believing that holding onto them somehow makes them a special person.

It’s a form of mental illness.

Irwindale Raceway, middle 70s, one of the many nitro match races we attended.
Little blown Fiat altered similar to this, The Blue Barron comes through the staging lanes.
Steve Evans of TV Drag Racing announcing fame was the manager/announcer at Irwindale at the time.
Track announcers like to talk and Steve had just spent 10 minutes expressing his satisfaction over the "new" Tree.
Gone was the old tree on the ground where it was so susceptible to the lack of control at the starting line.
"We have a new tree suspended on cables over the starting line" :thumbsup: he rants about.
The Blue Baron does his burnouts in the tower side lane and gets into the lights.
Tree goes yellow yellow RPMs come up yellow.
The Blue Baron gets up on his right rear tire much like Freddy here.
Launches skyward towards the pit lane.
What's between the lanes at the start line? The brand new overhead Christmas Tree.
Blue Baron drills the tree, literally :lol: does a mid air roll, lands on his roof in the pit side lane and bounces back on his wheels.
Mr Evans was reasonably quiet after that :lol:
Not like they weren't prepared for it.
Had another brand new one pulled up there 15 minutes later. :rofl:
