The carb model number is a 4 digit number stamped on one of the base plate mounting feet, will start with a 6 or 9. Numbers on the air horn are casting #s, not part #s.
There is no 'jetting' in the base plate, so another BP with the same vacuum fittings will work. Make sure ALL channels in the base plate will be covered by carb the mounting gasket.
If the airhorn is corroded as badly as the BP, then I would get another carb. There are internal passages that are inaccessible that are probably corroded/blocked that would give strange problems once in use.
