Hey guys
Had all the GT trim of my 69 Dart Convertible, re-anodized by Bill Petrow who did the anodizing for such famous restored race cars such as "Maverick" the 64 Dodge etc. Met him at the Nats a few years ago and he had an impressive display of cars and restored parts. My issue is, on the 69 GT side trim, black has to be painted in the middle of the trim. Since re-anodizing, I now have pits in the middle of the trim. I tried filling them with epoxy primer, sanding and after they are painted I can still see the pits, millions tiny pits. Any one encountered this before. The trim is roughly waist high and may not be an issue, I just wanted it as nice as possible. The finish panel and grille look awesome with no imperfections. I took pics to post, but the pits don't show up in pictures. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Martin
