Dont know how they even do it in CA anyway. I wonder if they send them down to Tijuana...@Dibbons?A resounding NO vote for Bumper Boyz out of Calf.

What did they quote you?I took some of your advice and called Tri-City Plating after checking out a bunch if others. Looks like they will be doing the bumpers for my 71 Demon. Thx to all for the input!!
Who I got 3 needs paintedI paid $400 each a few years back when I got my car stripped to bare metal and repainted with a catalyzed single stage including bodywork, door jams and trunk. I had already done the engine compartment. I had to go out of state to get it done, but including the bumpers the whole job was only $6200.

I agree. I'm glad I'm about 20 minutes from them. Our neighbor had a set of bumpers redone there for a '51 Coronet and they did an excellent job.If nobody else has said it .......TRI CITY PLATING!!!! Sorry, just reiterating the majority of the responses here. I feel very fortunate to live an hour away, and I wouldn't even consider anyplace else.
Tri-City Plating Co. Inc.
Let's see...same as what Mopar373 said...$950 for both. But I'm adding the copper plating first so a bit more. I could tell talking to Chip there that this would be where I'd have mine done. With the collective recommendations on here and my discussions with him, I was sold. What did they quote you?
I used to know a woman that could suck the chrome off a bumper....
But she couldn't put it back on....
Do you still have her number? I need the chrome removed from my mirrors so I can paint them
That’s not too bad, Ogden Chrome here wanted $1200 for my two 69 Charger bumpers.Let's see...same as what Mopar373 said...$950 for both. But I'm adding the copper plating first so a bit more. I called Ogden too. They were like $980 and $800 for the front and back bumpers for their "street chrome" and add 35% each for "show chrome." He told me "show chrome" means they fix blemishes or irregularities that come through their normal process but street chrome leaves them as-is.That’s not too bad, Ogden Chrome here wanted $1200 for my two 69 Charger bumpers.
Chinezium Chrome is only 1 Layer, 1 MIL thick on the very front edge !So all chrome is 3 layered or just the good stuff?
If you don't mind shipping, Royal Silver in Norfolk, VA is great. They did mine (73 Sport) and they turned out beautiful. But like others have said, triple plating is expensive. But it will look much better, and last longer, than what you get from an aftermarket bumper or a budget plater.
I had both front and rear done, repaired some dings and dents, "triple chrome" plated, and it was $2400 for the pair. The front was more expensive because of the size. Here's a video. No website for them? How much did a pair of bumpers cost?
That's exactly what I found too! Thanks for the recommendation on Tri- city .
Chip was great to talk to. He was cores for my 64 dart GT.
All setup on rechroming front and rear bumpers. Half the cost of Ogden. Life time warranty.
