Real world swap cost

As far as the cost goes, I was just going from my experience.
As far as the dog goes, that's my Cattle Dog/Husky mix. I usually just tell folks she's a dingo.
As far as the blonde goes........

Saw a local guy selling a complete set-up for $1800... still thinking if I can swing it.

If you decide to go that route I can help. I'm in Edmonton and have a nice 4 speed set-up for sale including a new clutch, flywheel and Lakewood bell housing. You would have to buy a 4 speed hump still. Pm me if you are interested.

That seems a bit high, you should be able to get everything for under a grand.

I agree with the others above. Make sure it is what you want before you start and if you are going to convert it, use factory parts and make it look correct and you won't hurt the value. Yes it is a matching numbers car but I think there are more people that would prefer a 4 gear than an auto.
