I'm ready to run brake lines but don't have any of the original lines. What's the best way to run the rear lines on the axle? There's 1 tapped hole on the left side of my housing (8 3/4"). Do I bolt a juction block here w/ a rubber hose that goes up to the chassis? Since there's only one hole in the axle, should I use a vent to bolt the juction block instead of a bolt (otherwise there's no where else to put a vent)?

You're on the right track. The tapped hole is for bolting the brake junction block to the housing with a hollow bolt that also acts as a housing vent. These are still available from the dealer as a housing vent bolt. The only real key is to run the brake lines to either side over the u bolts and leave enough space to get the u bolts out. If you use the '73 up rear brake hose the junction block is made as part of the hose assembly. '72 and older had the hose and junction block separate and you may have trouble finding just the junction block.
