Rear end ID help

Ok I have seen this rear in several trucks to include mine. Mine is an 83 D150 Stepside with a slant. I dont know what rear this is supposed to be. It looks like a 9.25 but is round at the top rather than the normal stop sign shape.

That's a 9 1/4" rear end. My brother in law has one just like it in his '79 pickup (bought new).

Yep. That's definitely a 12 bolt 9.25. I'm putting one in my '71 Duster.
