Rear tire help (64 barracuda)

How large of a 14" tire can you fit on the back of 64' barracuda mounted on american racing (Outlaw II) 14x7 rims?

The Biggest Radial They Make In A 14" Tire Is P245/60r14, That Should Fit. I Have P255/60r15's On My 66 Valiant With Stock Wheel Wells.

The 245/60 series will be a little shorter but wider than your 225/70's, will look mean on the Barracuda!

Ok. Yeah I guess im just a little worried about them sticking out too far.

I had F60/14 tires on 7" rims on back of mine. They had a section width of about 9 13/16". The rims had about 4 3/8" backspacing, IIRC. They cleared the springs by about 1/4" to 3/8" & had plenty of clearance to the outer fender.
