I just got some 15x8 rims for the rear on my 65 Dart. What’s tire fits without any cutting? I have 14x7 for the front and I’m planning on going with 225/60.
Thanks!

15x8’s might be too big. Have you bolted them on to check figment? You should get a pretty good idea how wide you can go. A 235/60/15 is probably the largest tire without moving the springs. And please don’t say air shocks/long shackles are going to be the solution. Proper planning is the right thing to do.

Yep they might be too wide. I put 15X7's with a 4" backspace and a 225-70 and not a lot of extra space. New 15" rear tires

Good luck putting 225s on 8s and then getting the tread flat to the road......
225/60s should go on 7s.
60 series on 8s should be 255s.
But if your backspace ain't just right on the money, I doubt you can fit 8s into the wheelwells.

So mount the rims on the drums without tires and start measuring.

Yeah 15x8s ain't gonna make it without cuttin somethin. 15x7s will.

I run 17x8 in the rear on my 65 dart. 255 45. Stock wheel tubes. Mine is the silver one.
