If you can count the teeth, it might be easier to just look at the outside edge of the ring gear where it is stamped...
 
:salut: Thanks mopartech, for the intelligant answer. To the other two neophites it isn't stamped on the gear and the gear is out for easy inspection and to the other wise guy do you know the formula??. If you don't know an answer don't waste the sites space. :) walt
 
Truthfully I don't think he was being a wise guy. The math is simple ring gear teeth count divided by pinion teeth count equals ratio. If you want a formula that is. Otherwise as he said, 8 gozinto 35 ? of times, answer 4.37
