Professionally rebuilt 340 motor
Come hear it run. Still in car.
Built by legendary engine builder Charlie Weston (from Piscataway,NJ) according to the guy I bought car from.
Block casting # 2780930-340-2. Date code 5-31-72.
Approx 1500-2000 miles.
Mild cam . Smooth idle(couple steps above stock, specs unknown).
"J" casting heads.
2bbl intake/carb.
Runs excellent no smoke, leaks etc.

Mild porting (intake runners opened up a little (gasket match) /bowl work)
2.02/1.60 valves
I have all the paperwork for the heads (components used, flow numbers, etc). Heads are off the motor and reay to go. less than 200 miles on them.
heads are good up to .540" lift

Rebuilt Torque-flight 727 trans

Built by Royal transmission in Spotswood, NJ.
Stock rebuild; low miles (same as motor)

340 High performance factory exhaust manifolds

Cast Iron
Driver side casting # 2863553.
Passenger side casting # 2863549.

Its not a typo. The motor is in a street stock circle track car. That is what was required for the class. Car was only raced 9 times before the was in an accident and then it sat for 2 years before I bougjt it. Drivetrain was untouched when car was hit. Runs excellent and drives fine. Trans shifts good too!!!
 
Make me a reasonable offer. I would like to start breaking this car up for parts. I have been waiting b/c I want to be able to show that the car runs and drives good.
 
I am going to start tearing the car apart on Saturday. Here are the parts available:

V8 k-frame

8.25 rear with new 3.90 gears spider gears are welded

Front disc brake set up

Driveshaft for 727 trans/8.25 rear

Driveshaft loop

Aftermarket gauges

Leaf springs

Lower control arms w/factory sway bar mounts

Rebuilt 340 motor

Rebuilt 727 trans
 
Car is stripped all parts mentioned are available.
