Anyone see a problem with this recruiting poster

That's what happens when you stop teaching history and allow people to copy and paste

And you know what?

I've seen worse

Here is a screenshot of a news story (Dutch media) on the Dutch railways

It tells us there is 3035 km of track...
You see the issue there?

Do we know what the black and white background image for the poster was? The poster is about tradition and the soldier is holding a photo of his dad (or grandfather) that probably fought in WW2.

Is that a concentration camp?

That cap in the OP says "Vietnam".

Perhaps it's an abridged history of foreign service.

...but I agree, perhaps a poor choice.

Dachau death camp

I wonder why the CSM didn’t proof the poster. If he did it clearly shows his lack of judgement.

Up here you don’t get free education but there are free tampons in the men’s washrooms.

Montana Army National Guard has admitted their mistake and is taking down the posters.

Good to hear. They’ll have some conversations with those who reviewed the poster befor it went out. The Army teaches attention to detail. Kinda lacked in this case. At least it’s being addressed.
