Redline hubcap restoration

I have a set of aluminum redline hub caps for my 69 in need of restoration. There are a couple of dents and some scratches. Curious if any has any tips for the resto.

Too cheap to replace the alum ones...Stainless are worth the effort...

Read up on shrinking metal, metal bumping, and buy good safety equipment including a respirator.

These came stock on my 70 Swinger 340. A small ball peen hammer, a half speed buffing wheel, and plenty of patience. These are aluminum, with the original paint.
