I agree that consumers had some to do with it. But it's clearly two fold. Taxes and regulation didn't help a thing. Add to that everybody wants something for nothing and we end up with where we are. Cheap, disposable crap.

Like the guy told his bud looking at my car for sale at $7000. He told him, you are just paying for the body/paint work and the rest of the all the car is FREE! He still walked after offering me $3500!
