Removing Power Steering Box?

How do I go about Removing the Power Steering Box from the steering colum?

look at steering adaptor between p/s box and column you will see a ruffly 1/4 inch hole ..it has a role pin in it..take a drift..punch it out...not easy but it will come out...slide adaptor up towards column ..again not easy but it will move up...j[oakley,ca]

I'd look into supporting the column adapter from underneath as you will be beating the everliving crap out of it to get that roll pin out.
I wasn't able to get mine apart that way, I ended up unbolting the column inside and pulling the column out of the coupler. That caused other issues like how to line it back up and stab the coupler with the keys attached... fun no matter how you do it
